Companionship Exemption Comments Deadline Extended
The US Department of Labor has extended the deadline for the submission of comments on its proposed rule that would significantly change the application of the exemption from minimum wage and required overtime pay. The deadline is now March 12, 2012.

Midwest Care Alliance (MCA) continues to formulate draft comments. NAHC is waiting on the final report from the labor economist before writing comments. This document is expected to be available shortly.
